Skill? Yes. Brains? No Respect? No. He's like a graffiti artist -- the artwork may be beautiful but the artist has no respect for others. The only difference is that the graffiti generally doesn't put the public at risk. In answer to your question, I would call it selfish.
Sometimes one watches these YouTube vids whist not paying attention to legalities. Kinda like watching porn.....one doesn't pause mid-way and ponder...."hmmmm, I wonder if this is legal"?
That's probably true, l2r. My perspective of this video may have been tainted by the stunting thread from earlier today. I suppose that it is possible that David did not post this one in response to that thread, but since it was fresh in my mind, all I noticed was the riders' selfish disregard for anyone else except themselves. They certainly are talented, though.
Brilliant skill, but totally illegal with no regard for anyone else on the street. He even went through a red light on his back wheel. They could make good money doing displays etc. if they channeled their skill in the right way, instead of endangering themselves and others on the street.

I hate that they are doing it in traffic, but that has probably made them better at it, avoiding cars and turning corners.
Looks like at points the bike is perfectly vertical. However, all it will take is a slip one day and he will hit that pavement hard without a helmet. Then we will see how cool he is.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
