Hello folks. I recently bought a CBR250 and I can't flatfoot the bike as I am a short (5:5). Other than getting shoe lifts what else can I do? A friend advised me to take the shock spring down a notch. Any ideas and recommendations? Thanks in advance.
Bearing in mind if you reduce the height of the rear you change the steering head angle and the steering will become heavy. Dropping the forks tubes in proportion will even the height reduction out both ends, but be careful you don't run out of suspension travel and have the forks bottom out on the bottom triple tree.
I don't think the fork bottoms are close enough to the lower triple tree to hit it, even with a 3 inch drop, but I may be wrong.
