CBR 250r Headlight Customization with LED flexible Tube

Hi Guys,

First of all thank you so much for the valuable yet impressive posts you shared.

The thing is I want to add LED flexible tubes in my CBR Headlight, I have seen someone already did this customization, But, the video is not that much brief.

Can you guys help me out to achieve my idea?? And also please suggest me what are the Pros and Cons by doing this.?

Find final outcome :

Note: LED tubes should work as an indicator as well as parking lights.

I do not know where you live, but, I am afraid that that mod would confuse the heck out of folks where I live. Plus little kids will want to see your bat signal. ;-)

I'm from india my friend.

Is it that much complicated? I thought somebody did it before, so that I can also try. If I want to accomplish this where should I start?

You would have to be able to disassemble the headlight housing.

Not knowing how it was done in this case:

You would need Bi color led tubes, amber and white it the case of the video, that run off of 12-15 volts.

run the ground wire to ground and the amber power lead to power side, 12v, of the perspective turnsignal

The wire that provides power to the white leds would go to the output of a relay, and that relay is controlled by the DRL lights on that side.

Wired this way when the DRL has power, no turn signal, the white LED rope has power
When the Left turn signal is activated it cuts power to the left DRL, causing the relay to switch and deactivate the left white LED rope light, and when the left turn indicator illuminates it provides the needed power to the amber side of the LED rope light, causing it to light up.

Hopefully this helps get you started on the control portion of the project.
