Here's some pics of the panel. I didn't have time to take the whole thing off today, but I may be able to get more later if needed. I think they shop that did the work may have made it from scratch. Three bolts hold it on, one behind the seat fairing that's not visible. It's totally flat on the back (engine) side.
And thanks for the link to the headlight, I may end up ordering that over the winter... I really like the HID look though, so I may keep trying to get a retrofit together

As far as your headlight mounting issue. The forks are 37mm. Products as well as a little windscreen to hide some of the wiring and spruce things up.

Computer has gone blue a few weeks back. Only update so far is tyga parts have come started test fitting ta then found forks are slightly bent so we are now looking into what other forks can fit.

Sac - I didn't see that fairing how much are they?

Wow. Thank you JMLDDS. It looks like a lot of customization was involved. As far as HID lamps go, they consume quite a bit of power. I knew a guy who had an SV650 with an HID kit. He had it wired up with a switch and possibly a capacitor(?) and would start the bike to get the juices flowing, then turn on the insanely bright light. I'm unsure exactly how much power the cbr250r produces but I'd imagine it's maybe a little more than it needs to run properly and charge the battery. I'll look into it a bit further and if I can't find anything, will bust out the multimeter.

Very nice...where'd you get that light? Did you re-use the cluster/turn signals?

It's definitely the headlight of the Yamaha FZ16, hope that I'm not wrong

Slow on the progress but its getting there.

Putting the tyga tail was abit of a ^%$£. First time i tried broke a pin epoxy it back on. Figured i had to attach the black panels on it first hold it in place then slide from above.

Haven't attached bars yet need to make 5mm thick spacer under triple and also need bar risers as bars hit forks.

I used Renthal RC fatbars and renthal CL005 clamps.

Wiring and cables and quite good although slightly tighter on right side.
Final check will be when forks a raised to correct height and risers are in.

Also the axle, forks, top and bottom triples were straightened so she's all good.








Also got another project a 07 xt660x





Went down lightly on the left prices for plastics were crazy. $160AUD for light cowling and $160AUD for left shroud. Also put Renthal RC bars on this which look exactly the same as stock.

Correct. Owner's here in India.. where the FZ16 is the ultimate commuter bike
