The warning decals are not difficult to remove at all... and they certainly don't "seem to be recessed into the tank", which is why I believe UnMonk was referring to the Honda Wings, when he said "Honda stickers". As for the warning decals most, if not all owners remove them. I wasn't referring to the warning decals in my statement about de-valuing the resale potential of the bike. I was talking about the graphics, which is what the OP's question was referring to, the CBR250R decal.

To the OP... worth considering: Removing any of the cosmetic factory decals and graphics on any bike will only de-value the bike in the eyes of a lot of potential buyers, in terms of resale. On some motorcycles the decals and graphics can be fairly expensive to replace should you decide to restore the bike back to stock appearance.
That is indeed what I was referring to. And that would be why they were a pain.

Guess ill have to throw some clear coat on it now

No, I'm talking about the CBR 250R stickers on the sides of the front fairings. The stickers you're talking about were removed weeks ago. These stickers can be replaced for a few bucks each. I don't plan on removing the Honda Wing decals.

A lot of people prefer to remove all the stickers on a bike to get a cleaner look. When I was on the Ninja site people were always asking the best way to remove the "Ninja" branding from the fairings.
I decided I wanted red lettering on my black Ninja, so I removed the stickers and replaced them with red ones. On the tank because of the clear coat I had to purchase lettering that was ever-so-slightly larger than the tank lettering and stick them on individually.

The fairing stickers should peel right off with a little heat from a hair dryer or heat gun. Just be careful with your fingernails trying to flip up an edge. Your fingernails will leave scratches on the plastic if you aren't super careful

I took my stickers off to apply a wrap to my bike. All you need is a heat gun, they peeled right off mine without any leftover residue, took 5 minutes.
