Default Ignition Switch Relocation

Has anyone moved their ignition switch from the triple to the side of the bike? I plan to mount the instrument panel where the ignition switch currently is, similar to the Greggs Customs bike, but don't know the level of effort needed to relocate the switch.

I'd think that trying to relocate the wiring harness to plug into the relocated switch would be problematic. You would need to fabricate a wiring harness extension to connect to the switch in its new location. Not sure what you mean by "mounting the instrument panel where the ignition switch currently is"?

Check out the photos in this post, it's exactly what I'm hoping to do with the instrument panel.
