Anyone have any experience with this stuff? I've really been thinking hard about painting my rims black on my bike. I can't really afford to have it done professionally, and I don't want to rattle-can them and have it come out looking like crap.

Powder coating isnt that dear , i called up a local place where i lived, they said $120 include sand blasting for the rims, and the silver guards next to the foot pegs

Seriously, I say it in jest. There is a lot of information on plasti dip on this forum, you just need to search for it. I think there are more than just 5 people but I could probably name 5 that, when combined, have completed or pioneered every mod on this forum and are happy to share their knowledge and enthusiasm with anyone who wants to listen.

i reckon a much better idea then plastic dip
Just remember that to powder coat your rims you need to remove/ reinstall the tires, balance the rims and replace the wheel bearings.
