New guy from Southwestern Pa.

Hello,
Thinking of picking up a 250r in the spring time for street and track duty until I can get another middle weight. So here for knowledge for now. Just moved to Pa from Los Angeles been riding for about 4 years. Sold both of my r6 one street and one track before moving home. Rode just about every track in So Cal including Laguna.

Pic is turn three Streets of Willow Spent a lot of time at that track while corner working for Cali Super Bike school. Cheers.

It is a fun bike in those hills of SW PA. Any local tracks from your childhood?

Nope never owned a street bike until I moved to LA. Rode dirt a little bit back here. I am already checking Out a new old stock 2013 cbr 250r repsol. At the dealership I am taking over as sales manager. I wish it wasn't a repsol. I will probably sell those fairings as I am expecting to beat on the little bike pretty good, as well as teach my Girl to ride on it. I have already looked into Pittsburgh international race complex for track days though.

Barnhart's, eh? Yeah, wrinkly country, indeed.

Perhaps I will find the opportunity to stop in on one of my runs (automobile) to Williamsport. I lived there (Sullivan Co.) for 5 years, once.

Congratulations on the job!

I no longer ride. I went through 11 months of unemployment, during which I turned a very soft 60 years old.
I sold my CBR and decided to really call it quits this time.

I was hired just after Thanksgiving by a publishing company with a warehouse here in central Indiana.
Work is the best anti-depressant, AFAIAC. Motorcycling (in the U.S.) is a very expensive hobby.

Sadly, I never did one track day in all of my years (40ish) of riding.
