need saddlebags where i can ride passenger also

I got Cortech saddlebags and tailbag on Ebay for around $220, and got a tankbag from another vendor for $65. Not as much space as a Goldwing but quite a bit of storage and they all came with rain covers. I also got a rear rack and I can attach the tailbag both saddlebags and still carry a passenger. The only problem I've noted is that the bags sun fade kind of easily, I got the red to compliment the bike. I might have been better off with the black but not sure how that might fade either. I leave the saddlebags on and that may be my mistake, as the sun has been tough on them.
