Default Tires that are not bothered by GRAVEL

I've read the discussion on here about winter vs summer thread formulations.

My concern is gravel. I am always reading about slip & slide motorcycle falls due to gravel on the surface of the road.

So, QUESTION: Are there tires out there that have treads that can handle gravel & slippery surfaces better? And, I am not suggesting the possibility of using off road tires on our CB!

I just want to feel safer out there!

GW

There is no such tire out there..

Stl Ryderz This link will help explain Tires a little better

I am a Michelin and Pirelli Tire dealer (not selling anything, just giving back ground)

they tire is not the issue with Gravel, it is in fact the gravel itself. Riding upright you will have no issues, but its when yoiu want to turn, even a "Off Road" tire will slide on thse, it justr digs past the to layer to a solid surface to hold onto

So the moral to this post is as follows:

"Safe CBR's take it easy around curves. No pegging!"

There is riders that are not bothered by gravel, and it has little bearing on how fast they are, there are riders that pegscrape and alot slower than riders that keep the bike upright and use their body correctly.
