Well my speedometer said 95mph in 50f weather but id like to know corrected speed. This was with new exaust, k/n filter, and a few other mods.

$1.60 the other day, could have kept going but there was a car in front, more than i was expecting from the little cbr

255 pounds and I have been able to hit 91 on a straight part of the 5 northbound freeway.

Theoretically, of course, my bike has done 97mph/156kph. That was on fairly level highway with better than moderate wind and completely stock. I bought this bike for traveling and gas mileage. If I wanted speed, I would have gotten something else. It has no problem getting to and cruising at any speed up to 50, 60, 70, 80mph/ 80, 97, 113, 129kph. The top speed is certainly less than my last bike (Victory), but it was an inefficient v-twin and not as comfortable and fuel efficient as this bike.

I am 6'2"/188cm, 185lbs/84kilos.

Personally if I were at all concerned or obsessed about top end speed, I'd be on a 600RR. How many times will I ever do over 100? Probably zero, unless I'm on the track and I've had some training by a pro (which I would love to do someday!).

max i could touch was 93.9 mph but with cross winds.
