K & N filter

Is this worth getting for the cbr? Are there any noticable power or mpg gains? Thanks

I felt alittle difference after installing my K&N, not sure about gas milage because I haven't been recording it.

No I have had one for 4 months I don't see a difference. All I see is a dirty air filter that attracts dirt like you wouldn't believe. Buy the disposable air filters.

it's been around 5 months now.....after k&N the gears are silky smooth,a slight easy and relax power delivery and the pick-up increased a bit too......in traffic at nights i can manage to do a 2nd gear wheelie and a 3rd gear burnout on loose gravels

But dont get the idea you will hop on it and be like ********************!!!

it is only an air filter, but it will compliment any other upgrades you exhaust, air box mods and so forth. to often people look at one component and this will do it all alone. Look at the over all picture!
And buy the way i get them at cost. i maybe able to past the savings on to you, P M me.

I had a K&N for my other bike and loved it.Yeah it gets dirty fast, but think about it this way, would you rather dirt go though the filter or on it. I personally don't care how messy it gets, because I know that my engine will stay clean. If your filter is getting dirty, you know it's doing its job.

If not for performance gains, its still a nice upgrade because its cleanable. if you buy a k&N you never have to buy another air filter again, just keep it clean.

Does the Free Flow Filters help the bike rev a little smoother at the higher revs?

Installed 1 about a month ago notice a little difference in acceleration & does run smoother. I'm happy with it.
