Finally decided to get an aftermarket exhaust. I wanted to gain power but not a lot of noise, so I decided on the arrow system with the optional header.
Anybody have one of these and can offer some feedback on them?
Yep got it on my cbr250r. Quick and easy to install. Just make sure that every joint is properly sealed. No need to flash the ECU. You'll gain alot just on the weight saving. You wont believe how heavy the OEM exhaust is. On top of that, the bike will quicker on acceleration and little faster on the top speed.
Have fun and ride safe!

527$ with header (in black aluminum with steel end cap) from Motostarz.com
Got this one because it meets EU sound regulations. From what I have read it has about the same noise level as the stock exhaust, but gains a few more horses, weighs less, and looks better. I was going to get the Leo Vince SBK LV One, because its pretty quite too, but thought the arrow looked better.
The UPS man brought me my Arrow exhaust today........Im busy with test this week, will be installing next week. I will post info and pics after installation.

Got the full Arrow exhaust installed today, sorry too late for pics. I will post some tomorrow.
The exhaust (with the silencer installed) is as I have heard only about 10dBA louder than stock, but with a much deeper grunt to it. It sounds so much better, but not too loud. I can hear it a little more in city driving, I don't think it will be much different on the highway, I will find out it a few days.
However, now it really is trying to shut off while blipping the throttle, more so than with the stock exhaust. Anybody know why?
Im thinking that a Bazzaz will solve this problem and give me more power.

Mine seemed to wind down quicker than with the stock. Possibly a function of lower back-pressure. Anyway, no problems over a 1000 miles since I put the Arrow on. Emission control is closed loop over a large part of it range. Let it do it trick and adjust.
