There are numerous other threads on the Ninja 300 - check either in General or Other Motorcycles. Overall most people seem to say it's a nice bike but they aren't going to be trading their CBRs for one.

I personally don't think the "upgrade" from the CBR250 to the Ninja 300 would be worth while, I would think if your not wanting a full on SS see about one of the CBR500 offerings.

If you do a lot of highway riding, you may consider a bigger windscreen.

here are some inexpensive mods to play around with your bike which I did to mine:
-repainted the rims to gloss black
-put red rim stripes
-lower the front end to about 1/2 inch
-replace the ugly side mirrors with a koso side mirrors
-apply carbon fiber vinyl sticker on the engine cowling and exhaust heat shield

Only mod I'll be doing is a dark windscreen. As far as upgrading it's not going to be any kawasaki models!! I'm sticking with Honda.

So far I have changed the exhaust (full arrow exhaust) and the windscreen (Puig). Both have been excellent choices. Now thinking about a K&N filter.
Also thinking about painting my rims, cant decide on black or white. And going to paint my front fender blue after the winter.

i reckon white wheels on a tri-color cbr would look sick. But then again they will get dirty pretty easily

Pirelli Diablo Rosso 2's made me so much more comfortable on my bike. Turning, braking and stability are all greatly improved.

Upgrades
I got a new the Honda windscreen from tyga. I am pleased with it thus far. Really does keep wind off the body. Not sure how it compares to the Puig.
