Looks very nice, I'm planning to do the exact same. 2 questions though (and anyone else can jump here):
1- Where did you get the black exhaust cover? all I can find online are the expensive carbon fibre ones. is it DIY?
2 - I've found the upper cowl and rear seat cowl parts in OEM black (through Tyga), but I can't find the middle cowl in black anywhere. Do you or anyone else know where I can find them?

Hello All.... got my cbr almost a month ago... love it... but hate the silver but did not like all the black.... a buddy of mine has an all black one and wanted my silver parts... so we got working on the bikes...

No need to paint... just a straight swap and looks factory... loving it...

The exhaust shield I did myself... One of the easiest things to do also. I took it off. Sprayed some Paint primer... Then I used SEMI GLOSS (Semi being key....) engine enamel. I put about 4 coats on there. Came out awesome ... Thanks for the comments on the color of the bike! Swapped out the silver parts and never looked back.
Thank you .. Hoping to do a little more soon... want to black out the wheels but I dont have a way right now to lift the front and rear.... so saving money for the lifts....
