Default Ethanol treatments?

Instead of replying to numerous other threads, I figured I'd start a new one.

To those having problems with shuts offs, low idling, etc. Is everyone using ethanol treatments in their gas? (The little blue bottle you can pick up for like $6 at any dealership).

Small engines do not do well on the ethanol in the gasoline nowadays.
Plus it can give you better mpg.

The engine and fuel system components are designed to work with up to 10% ethanol blended fuels. Honda states this in the Owners Manual. I'm using regular unleaded (86 PON) gasoline, with 10% ethanol, and have never had any problems. If it was the ethanol blended fuels causing stalling, the problem would be wide spread. As it is, there are relatively few experiencing problems with their CBR's.

Agree with MotoMike.....its designed to run up to 10%. I run 87 with 10% and have never had a problem. Stope waisting money on additives and higher priced gas!

Missouri has a mandate that requires all gas to contain at least 10% Ethanol, as long as it cost no more than regular gasoline. Honestly, we have had no problems burning E-10 in anything we own.

Use 100% gas if you can find it. Yes the CBR may run on fodder fuel but why support criminals who are converting arable land for food crops to fuel fields. We have enough petrol. Anyone who thinks ethanol is a good deal should be riding a moped.

Won't use any fuel with ethanol for anything I own. At least while I have the choice.
Ethanol attracts water and water+fuel=bad. My2cents
