Talking Ran out of gasoline. Won't start.

Honda Fireblade. CBR250RR (J) 88-89. I ran out of fuel and after refill motor would turn over but not fire. After checking fuel pump it was not pumping fuel.
I live in Vietnam and parts are very difficult to get for any bike over 150cc.
Can this bike be gravity fed?

Default Clogged fuel filter or air in the fuel line?

I wonder if the fuel filter got plugged with debris after letting the fuel run completely empty. Could try looking and the filter for obvious debris and try to clean or replace as necessary. Not sure if perhaps there is air in the fuel lines that is giving you some issues. Maybe you could try priming the fuel line somehow. Anyone else have suggestions?

Fuel filter is old but is clear. Will fill fuel pump and lines and drop a little down the carbies. Will keep updating. Thanx.

I don't think there is anything wrong. the pump probably can't move the fuel because of an air lock in the lines. once the lines are primed with fuel everything should be fine.

This is my guess as well, Vacuum Lock I think it's called.
