+In fact, the Spyder's in the shop right now, having a sprocket bearing replaced, under warranty, at ~56k...

NO but it has an oil leak Honda NA and the dealer are working it out . I'll keep you posted . by the way I have over 400,000 miles on my BMW motorcycles , and yes they have had warranty work on them . k100rs 4vavle had a front cover leak oil , my R1100S got a fuel pump at 76,000 miles ext warranty , my HP2 SPORT got 2 rocker arms ext warranty put them in . the CBR250R/A got a new battery under warranty ,after 6 mo . so you can see I was asking about the Honda CBR250R/A . not other motorcycles.
sorry for not getting back fast just got back from a short time out from the computer

I hope this leak has nothing to do with the tuning. I can't see it happening. I really want to install that jett tuning PCV and would hate to have it affect the engine.

<LI class=blogger-video>

I would think tuning has nothing to do with it (oil leak) here is a race bike with a higher state of tune .

i didn't think it would but had to ask. the way you first posted made me think worse things had happened than an oil leak. i hope everything goes well with the dealer then.

I dont think it was the heat. excessive heat during run-in is common but i think it was the shoddy work on the engine paint that caused the peeling.. obviously manufacturing defect and thus needed replacement.

"Bike is in the repair shop to figure out what went wrong from the alarm, DFC install. They are thinking it blew the fuel relay but not 100% sure yet. They need to request the wiring diagram so they can trace out each and every wire on the bike. Cant wait to ride with the new seats, I did sit on it for a few minutes and could feel the difference, will see what a ride feels like when its running again."
this was posted by SDM . TAKE A LOOK at his bike it is one sweet ride.

Can we talk about your bike, woolf?

What area of the engine is the oil leaking from?
