Curious that someone would start a thread, and then not follow up with replies to other posts in the thread.

Ive had my entire block and piston set replaced at 6000kms ... reason: Paint chipped off the block in its entirely due to heat and shoddy paintwork(?)

what caused the heat, and surely it wouldnt have been just that one engine paint..
doesnt sound right, an 'entire block and piston' due to chipped paint..
[but not, complaining about dealer problem solving ! ]

I've heard of this before. A bloke on another forum that I frequent had his entire engine replaced on his BMW, because the paint was peeling off it.

Question

+Woolf, folks are rightly asking why.

I've had multiple warranty repairs done on various bikes, including extensive work, and well upwards of 100,000 miles under extended warranty, and I've usually been quite satisfied with the results.

I've not had any concerns on the CBR250RA yet.

Ride on.
