I thought it was supposed to just fill it up to the plate. I thought I was being a naughty boy filling so it just went over the plate at the front a by a fraction.

i fill it up well past the plate almost to the top. I wouldn't see why you wouldn't be able to go pas the plate

I fill up at between 125 and 150 miles, which Google tells me is about the same as Aufitt. Now, I weigh 250lbs and am about as aerodynamic as a concrete block and I don't ride like a *************************, so I'm fine with those numbers.

Haha, I guess I have to join the club with Lewi as his numbers look close to what I get. Although we don't live in the middle of the desert, and WOT gets you just nicely in second before ya hit 50 or 60kph and thus the limits of legality .
No idea how you get 4.5L/100km or worse Aufitt!!

haha anything but. I used to get 250k's off the tank and now it's creeping up towards 300. I ride the thing crazy everyday, changing gears at 8000rpm + and clutch-less upshifting etc. i don't know how you get so little Aufitt. I can only really go up to 50 and 60kph anyways so i'm not on the highway or anything like that ringing it's neck WOT all the time so maybe that has something to do with it. I'm also very light so that may help too.
But yeah, definitely not like a p u s s y, ask my neighbours or the cop that pulled me over the other day

yeah that's true, the cbr gets up to speed pretty quickly at 50 and 60kph which is kinda annoying, it makes me think how much throttle you'd have to use to get a 600cc supersport up there. I saw a video of a guy test riding a cbr1000rr and he was sitting in 1st gear at 4,000rpm which is only a third of what it goes up to and he was cruising at 60kph

Ditto: worst tank 3.7L/100km. WOT off from every lights, change gears at 9k+ all the way through to 80kph when possible. Although I am light (<~65kg) and I do cruise at 5-6k in the burbs as well (once Im up to that speed as fast as possible). Hehe 4.5L/100km...no idea how where I ride .
