Default Bike not starting, cold morning.

So I went out this morning to start my bike, but nothing happened, the engine just turned over. it's about 30 degrees outside. I have not ridden or started up my bike for about 1 week. I've never had any starting issues before. Any ideas what is going on?

Not sure how many attempts you made to start it before filming it, but it sounds like it's not getting a full, powerful crank. If left in the cold not running for a week and not on a tender, the battery may be weak. Also did you try twisting the throttle at all while it was cranking?

^ I was just to say, invest in a battery tender. There is a really good one of cyclegear for sale:

DURABOOST Battery Maintainer 1000 - Cycle Gear

or amazon:

Amazon Amazon

Battery tenders are good for just lengths of time you don't get to ride often (winter). Maintains your battery, charge/restore/floats your battery life.

Would I need a 6 volt version on a 12 version?

You may have fuel system issues. I'm thinking ice, though ethanol should pick up some water / moisture.
I would add some stabilizer and possibly some dry gas, let it get warmer for a few hours and try again. My guess is that it will run fine. Your battery and electrical system are 12 volts.
Good Luck.

Do you have the habit of leaving the electricals(lights) on when you come home at night or something? I see in your video that your speedo lights are on the moment you turn the key on. Couple that with the fact that you left it for a week with the light switches in the on position, its possible that you drained out the battery?

No, I leave them off. But I found out what the problem was, just a low battery. I purchased a battery tender. Is it okay to let the battery tender run all time outside with the cold or should I bring the battery inside. Because I'd rather not do that.

Would that not normally happen?
