Question Front stands for CBR250R

Lots of posts/threads on rear stands, but nothing really for the front. With winter coming, I'd like to get both wheels off the ground, so figured I would make a thread.

Also as far as I know, there are 2 real types: fork-lift stands and stem stands, with one lifting from the bottom of the forks (similar to a paddle stand that lifts the rear via the swingarm) and stem stands, which use a pin that goes up the stem stalk. To me, the latter sounds MUCH more stable, but in searching it appears a lot of them don't work with our bikes out of the box.

Anyhow, if everyone can post (along with a pic of two) of their set-up it would be great. Here is also the thread I found about using a stem stand, but again it seems like too much trial and error to get working:

Thanks in advance

In my opinion the one that go's in the trees works best, That way if you ever need to pull your forks you don't need to hang the front end from the rafters of the garage.

I picked one up quite some time ago and did a write up on how to get it to work with our bikes.

Default Total newbie with this...

This is my first motorcycle, and I'm needing to winterize it now- we have a lot of snow already!!! Picked up an "ignition" brand stand, but the instructions are lacking. I'm not seeing any place on the swing arm for the spools to mount to, and I can't figure out how the front stand works on our CBs either.

I learn by seeing, so I was wondering if someone would be so kind as to post some clear photos for me to see how these stands really work.

Thanks,
Christine
