I have had my CBR since May 2011 up in Chiang Mai. Have used it for 2 up touring (and luggage) - amazingly practical little machine. Also for Sunday blasts around the beautiful north, although, to be honest, I get more of a buzz from my CB1 400 for fast mountain roads.
Thoughts on improvements - I Will get new tyres soon - IRCs are loooong wearing, but not very sticky. I have Pirelli on the 400 - same sizes as 250, so easy to get. I am told about 6,500 bht the pair. Also MUST change the dim little 35/35 headlight bulb! Wouldn't mind a lighter exhaust, but wary of things that sound like wood-chippers - aside from rather expensive.
