Default My Eastsport backpack/tailbag

This is a small (very small) Eastsport backpack that a roommate left behind a couple years ago. It's served me well bicycling, and now it's being used as a tail bag. It straps down securely and holds just enough junk.
Until I can get an Ogio, this lil guy rocks!

Good thinking. When I took my 1000 mile round trip to OKC, I used my JanSport as a tank bag.

I've been tempted to try a tank bag but I'm concerned that it would get in my way, or be a distraction.

I use a tank bag up front for my small things and a leather backpack for my rainwear liter gas can and bike cover which all fits nicely plus I tie it down with a cargo net I got off amazon.com. Works for me

I have a cargo net that I used to use on my XL250R luggage rack... Tied down all kinds of stuff with it. But I can't seem to find decent spots to hook onto with the CBR... What spots are you using as anchors for the net? Mind sharing a picture?

I was against tank bags for years thinking I wouldn't like them. Finally tried one about a year ago and use one all the time now. I still prefer hard cases for most things, but a tank bag is great for things I need easy access to: Food, drinks, camera, money for tolls, etc. A full tank bag can also give you something to lean against and help support your upper body on the highway.

Here are my pics as promised with the cargo net. I also use the bungee straps as well, both work great.

Great! Thanks for posting the pics... My cargo net is smaller, with only four hooks, which explains why I had trouble. I'll figure it out, one way or another.
Btw, your pictures are showing up upside down, but I just rotated my phone

My bad. That cargo net only cost like $6 on amazon. The bungees were $2.99 a piece from ace hardware. Like I said both are great even at hwy speeds. I just tried to show you how it looked. I'm in the process of making the ceebee my primary mode of transportation even though I have a 08 modeled car. I'm not gonna buy any tail bags unless the misses gets one and we can go camping using both bikes
