Ready To Buy A Bike

Now, I'm ready to buy our own bike! I want to surprise my husband. What would you suggest? Or perhaps I should ask him what he wants without giving him a hint?

my wife has a 2013 cbr250 and a 2005 buell blast 500. she says the buell blast is more comfortable to ride but the cbr250 is more refined and easier to ride, she keeps the cbr at our home in key west for short rides around town and the buell at our home in cape coral, longer rides

that being said..her cbr is very comfortable , she has helibars on it and I made lowering links for it...the buell is a much more cruiser type seating style and a much softer seat

That kind of surprise darn near got me divorced, for several gifts she didn't like (I'm either a slow learner or an eternal optimist).

The most recent incident was buying her a replacement computer before Christmas, and all I hear is how it would have been easier if it hadn't come with Windows 7 and a Windows 10 backup disk. The best deal was a business machine.

Talk with your husband, please.

I agree. Chat with your man. If he's rode before he most likely has an idea of what he prefers in a bike. If not, he may like to go shopping together with you to "try" one on and information gather. The surprise can still be a huge part of this though. Choose a day and spring on him you're going shopping to a Honda dealership. Still loads of fun and exciting.

that you want to get a bike to share
will be the pleasant surprise, for him..

you could ask his opinion about bikes
suitable for 'your friend' who has asked
your opinion.. that will at least get
his basic opinion on certain bikes..

this is as ltr points out something you can both
enjoy together,, a pleasure indeed for those
capable of it.. even if he guesses your intention
it can still be a nice little game to play
with your beloved [or close friend]..

it would help to know what you and he
have ridden and/or what type of riding
you are doing or considering..
