Nope, not even. If the shield can't withstand even a little pressure to clean a bug off, how is it ever supposed to withstand the aerodynamic forces of reentry?

It sounds more like his bad CS rep got stuck in the middle, which ain't who you want there if you want to run a business with a good reputation.

May I make a suggestion? After long road trips for many days & miles; it sometimes becomes hard to keep up with all the bug debri & other road grime.

I usually take a towel just large enough to cover the entire windscreen & soak the towel with water that is towards the hotter side of warm. Then immediately cover the windscreen with that towel and let it sit for about 10 minutes or so; then lift the towel and you will find all the bug debri & other dirt & grime; has all loosened up!!! A lot even stays on the towel when you lift it up. Flip the wet towel to the clean side first & then you can just wipe it clean w/o the risk of scratching the crap out of your windshield; or having to apply undue pressure to clean up the mess. Then just dry and polish as you normally would.

I learned that trick 12 years ago from a MC touring buddy of mine; after my first long tour & have been using it ever since. Works great every time!

Good luck, hope ZG decides a replacement is in order at no charge!

Wax furniture spray like "Pledge" is brilliant for removing bugs off your visor or screen. just spray it on, and couple of minutes later, wipe it off, along with all the dead bugs etc.

Alright, finally settled.

-Snapped screen washing bike
-Contacted Tom (biohazardcycles) told me to contact ZG
-Contact ZG via phone, no help but to direct me to email
-Contact via email with pictures, asked to send it back to them
-Sent it back via prepaid UPS, waited for email response
-Waited, then waited until notified the screen was back ordered
-Screenless, so I bought a old clear one from c-list
-Asked for a credit via Tom, but only able to get Store credit..
-Finally received the new and improved upgraded screen
-No use for it so I put it up for sale on the forums for $75 free ship

The end, waited about 3+ weeks for the new batches of screens, that is all. I am going to be alright with my scratched up one from craigslist so I am selling this one I just got in since I rather save for corsa.
