Sweet, at this point in my elimination it's either the 600rr or the Kawi

Well, I have decided on the cbr600rr. Honda is the choice. I will start looking next week. Most likely will sell my 250 privately after I finalize a deal. When that is i am not sure but I know it will be the Honda

Good choice, the Kawi has the best motor vs most refined everything in the CBR600.

Better motor as in power?

Im not sure of any company that makes better motors than Honda. They are the best in the business for motors and transmissions.

more power and in terms of quality they would both be pretty much equal however the kawasaki was updated more recently than the honda. I would also like some facts stating that honda makes the best motors because that is a pretty banal statement. The transmission has a slipper clutch too which the honda doesn't have and i think the transmission is smoother on the kawi as well

best motor and brakes and suspension and a slipper clutch and other little extras such as gear position indicator, stopwatch and lap timer but they aren't really that necessary for the road

My final decision was based on Honda's quality and the Powerhouse GM is family so, I wish to give him the business. I trust him, he's honest and won't sell me a POS bike just to make a sale. As well, I benefit from the "family plan" for gear and all servicing. All a part of buying the bike. Future service! And.... The cbr has been in my heart and sites for years
