Glad to hear your ok!!!

Thank God you were smart enough to wear the proper riding gear. Now you can heal up to ride another day! Keep us posted about your recovery.

All the best for healing.

The danger of being preoccupied especially when you get comfortable on the bike should not be underestimated. Wish someone would start a thread, crashes and near misses. We call all learn from them.

Having just nearly crashed in a turn because I was preoccupied over work issues, I can attest to the risk factor. Won't go into the embarrassing details. I just zoned out on work and was not paying attention.

Not saying this is what happened to you. Fortunately, I did not go down but whacked my foot without proper riding boots. As soon as the swelling subsides, I am getting steel toes. Another vote for not cutting corners on proper riding gear. Fortunately, I did not panick and that saved me from a serious crash. Still, a lesson I will not soon forget.

Well count your blessings. I hope that you do not have serious ACL damage.

BTW, what safety gear were you riding?

Get well soon!

Insurance took a look today, Frame is compromised, it's totaled... Bye Bye Bluejay, had a nice run while it lasted.

Better that you're on the mend than the bike. Honda can build another. Heal well, and quickly!
