These pic's have been up on numerous other threads here for at least a week... I think everyone is now just waiting for an official announcement/release from Honda.

My dealer says they will have info on the new smaller sport bike on the 12th so it may just be a 500. Who knows

Wonder what the price jump will be. 600's definitely out of my price range, but I could probably afford in between, a little closer to the 250 side.

I'm guessing a full fairing CBR500R will be close to $6000 MSRP (USD).

Well then that would be spectacular. Assuming you're right, I might be going for that.

If I had to guess, keeping in mind various factors - I'd say in the high $5K range (non-ABS model). Any higher and they're going to lose people to the 600RR (myself included).

LOL, dealer I spoke claims he had NO idea Honda was making 500cc models. But his prices on bikes are much lower than others in the area, so I'll forgive his ignorance...

Another CBR500 thread. Can we start adding these to the bonfire of "which exhaust" and "my bike rattles" threads?

I concur. How many of threads have been started with the same same pics?? I've lost count. How about just adding to those threads with updated info?? Only a suggestion.
