My boots saved my legs. I wreck when a car pull in front of me I am okay knowing that my gear saved me. Without my boots I would have lost my foot. I wanted to get the message out I still plan on showing pics of my cbr later.

Ouch... that boot looks pretty nasty. So the back of your ankle wasn't injured? How did the boot get cut like that?
Saw a guy out riding today wearing some sort of slip on casual shoes (of course no helmet either)... I see more and more clueless people riding motorcycles without the slightest idea of what proper gear is... it's really hard to believe that people would have such disregard for their own personal safety.
I ordered some proper riding boots last Friday, hoping to get them before Thanksgiving this week. I got the Tourmaster Solution 2, from Competition Accessories.
Glad you're ok, sorry about your CBR. When people take the time to post about experiences like this, I feel it keeps us all sharper and more aware out on the road.
Happy to hear your ok glad your one that RIDES TO CRASH. Not like some of the people on this forum that think they are so smart about not wearing THE GEAR.
