Funny to think that if someone was to post a video of them carving a canyon road that has traffic, grinding peg and pushing the tyres to the limits, everyone would give him props and congrats him on his riding skill.
He knows not where he's going, for the road it will decide, it's not the destination, but the glory of the ride.
SS, I know next to nothing about stunt riding, or if there is a stunt riding association to promote the sport
i get your point MTC ... you don't like stunts because you "know next to nothing" about them ..
.. we always fear the unknown ...
as for the mini-van mom , technically , she should hold her line ... even though i didn't see any in the ROC video !?... i've wheelie next to mini-van moms , is usually the kids inside telling me to catwalk , they don't swerve.
i've also been on rides like ROC but it was more ROW , and i rather ride next to the guy popping wheelies ...at least i know he's fully focused on driving..... as unsafe as that may look to others
BTW- they already have a stunt riding associations to promote the sport...
..just don't care
First. I like watching bike stunts, so you really didn't get my point on that. Second, I may not know a ton about stunting, but my concern isn't about stunting..it's about breaking the law and putting other people at risk in the process...and stunters on public roads are doing both. I DO know about safety..it's part of how I make a living. Lastly, I suggested involving yourselfnina stunting association as a means of making stunting safer and more accessible to everyone, stunters and spectators alike. Maybe you have some other method for accomplishing that goal, but it sounds like you "don't care" about solving that. It sounds increasingly like you kind of like the idea of being a scofflaw. That is unfortunate and, if true, I have lost a lot of respect for you. Not that you need my respect, of course.
