My new 2013 cbr250r with ABS in white,red, and blue. Since it's not going to be very nice out here for awhile( I live in NY ) I'm not going to pick it up until March/April. I'm also having them put on a carbon fiber Akrapovic pipe, ASV levers, Zero Gravity Windscreen, and some Pro Grip gel grips. It's gonna be sweet. Anything else you guys can think of? Maybe some frame sliders( as long as I don't have to cut anything ) or a fender eliminator?

Congrats. If possible, you should install the aftermarket parts yourself. The money you save can go toward even more stuff. The fun and knowledge you gain is priceless.

I was going to, but they're going to do it at no charge to me. And that's fine by me cause I've done it a time or two.

There are mixed feeling regarding frame sliders but an FE wld be nice. Yoshimura makes a quality product. Hot Bodies is less $$ therefore inferior. Some have been disappointed with it.

Why would you order a bike now if not picking it up for 4 months?

I see quite a few possible pitfalls with this.

IMO there is nothing wrong with frame sliders. I have a Yosh set on my bike. Some on this forum feel its a waste of money and shd the bike go down it is cheaper to replace a fairing than spend couple hundred on frame sliders. That's what I meant by "mixed opinions" on the subject of sliders.

Hey Cracker, what do you mean it won't be nice for awhile? I live right up RT. 40 in Argyle and I plan to sit in a lawn chair with a beer and work on my tan today.
