Stopped by the local dealer and threw my leg over the new Kaw 300. Wow Honda Is going to have to go back to the drawing board. Kaw has responded BIG TIME.
there are parts i love about the new 300, but then again, there are parts i dont care for. It has the looks, the better power.. But when i was messing around with one, it felt cheap to me..
I think the next company, whether it be honda to yamaha, that brings back a small displacement I-4 is going to have my business. I want something around 3-400. Jesus that would be beautiful.

I wish Honda would make a torquey parallel twin, like a 500cc version of the 250R. If Honda did that, they would have the perfect bike. They could use the engine and also make a naked bike and adventure bike, too.

I bought a 2013 cbr250r ABS over the ninja 300. To me, Honda makes a better bike. The Kawi does feel cheap. The motor is really good, but the rest just seems cheap to me.
Well, in Kawasaki's defense, Honda's 500 series that I was alluding to competes more with the mid-size street bikes. The CBR250R and Ninja 300 are still rivals, sure. What I'm saying is that the displacement between Honda and Kawasaki is staggered. Whatever one company has, the other has something slightly bigger or smaller. H250, K300, H500, K650, H700, H800, K1000, H1200, H1300, K1400.
I have a good thread topic: "There's More to Life than Horsepower". I dunno, I just like Honda's refined styling a lot better. The CBR250R is also more comfortable than the Ninja in my opinion. That said, I think the Ninja 300 is a cool bike. I'm going with a buddy of mine to look at one today. (They sell Honda, too, so I plan on piddling around on the scooters. I've never seen a PCX in person.)
yes and no. I still think 250 cc is just the ideal displacement, al least for the roads and traffic of my country, the new 500 series is a little bit too much.
