Hello,
I appreciate all your input regarding the stalling issue. My bike has the same problem.
After a long ride, my bro and I started heading back home and the stall problem began. Every single time I came to a stop, like clockwork, it would die if the rpm dropped below 1900. As long as you kept it above that, it ran like a charm, no indications of a problem. And it would start right up after it died.
I took it to the dealer, explained the situation (they did not admit hearing of any other similar problem on this bike) and to top it off I couldn't reproduce it They worked her over, also could not reproduce it, but found a bad spark plug and a valve out of adjustment (I only have 2300 miles on it).
Your explanation of the "decel fuel shut off feature" makes the most sense.
My question, is there anything we can add on to the bike to fix it (like a dynojet fuel controller)? or is it an internal computer thing Honda has to address and fix?
Melissa
