    Hello,

I appreciate all your input regarding the stalling issue. My bike has the same problem.

After a long ride, my bro and I started heading back home and the stall problem began. Every single time I came to a stop, like clockwork, it would die if the rpm dropped below 1900. As long as you kept it above that, it ran like a charm, no indications of a problem. And it would start right up after it died.

I took it to the dealer, explained the situation (they did not admit hearing of any other similar problem on this bike) and to top it off I couldn't reproduce it :( They worked her over, also could not reproduce it, but found a bad spark plug and a valve out of adjustment (I only have 2300 miles on it).

Your explanation of the "decel fuel shut off feature" makes the most sense.

My question, is there anything we can add on to the bike to fix it (like a dynojet fuel controller)? or is it an internal computer thing Honda has to address and fix?

    Sendler,

I am doing the 15/36T arrangement. Have the 15T on in the front, but wonder how you resolved the metal mounting gasket that seems to "cut into" the chain due to the added diameter of the 15 vs 14, especially on the low side hole. Thought it might be better to take it to a metal worker and have him shave the metal gasket piece down. How did you go about the following?

"Nice photos. The same procedure applies to fitting a 15T front sprocket with the additional step of trimming the nubs from the plastic sprocket cover so that the metal guard piece can be positioned all the way forward against the bolt holes to make sure it doesn't rub."

If you remove the 2 plastic nubs, how does that help...because I believe the housing has holes that has to line up with the metal gasket holes? Thanks man-

    Hey Sendler,

I have read quite a few of your threads on lighting (and other topics) and it looks like you have a very good understanding of this bike's electronics. Can you take a look at a question I just posted to the following thread? I'm having a strange issue with a combination LED / incandescent turn signal setup and thought you might have some ideas.

    CBR1000RR Mirrors on the 250?

    Thanks in advance

    Greetings fellow hyper-miler.
I've read through some of your posts regarding 15T front sprockets, and came across the one dated 12-06-2011. "Call Superior sprockets at 541 347 7262 ... You may as well grab one. I don't think they will wear from the slightly loose fit. The stock sprocket is designed to be free floating and these are just a bit looser. It would be easy enough to check every once in a while." I called him and he's willing to ship me one, but has advised me of potential complications; the greatest being that his sprocket's steel is probably harder than the steel in the spline, and the excessive free play could damage the spline over time; hence why he's refused to sell them.
My question is have you been running the 15T you received from him, or did you get another from somewhere else? If the former, how's your spline holding up? TIA for and feedback.

    hey sendler,
remember my post about bike not starting in gear(eventhough clutch pulled in),but starts in neutral only

i tried every method to find the fault myself, b4 going to svc,as i paid those guys just recently as i had an accident right side fall repair worth 300usd

    and i found
1.if i let the clutch little bit out of full held position, she cranks fine at gear or neutral, and bike is fine
    2.if fully held(touching handle),no start

is there any method to get the previously told working position of clutch adjusted to get corrected when i hold her fully?

I tried fine adjustment, loosend and tightened, the position just moves a little only.

And i could feel a slack on wire when i checked the clutch wire end near oil cover.
    Is that normal?
Will adjusting oil cover side nuts help to get clutch position corrected?

    Please help
