No need to get a 2nd battery. The stock battery can handle my 4 LED setup as long as you don't drain the battery by leaving them on when the bike is off. I can leave mine on 15 mins without draining the battery... maybe more. But I wouldn't try an hour. Sometimes I leave the battery on when I run into a gas station but I wouldn't leave them on when I go see a movie. Hope this helps.

    bro!
i wana add leds in the fairing but the problem is that they say here(in india) there are no good technicians who can handle this work i may get my battery wiring spoiled ...
this can get my abs also spoiled .....and other things so my dad warned me not to touch the battery coz its stupid to spoil this thng......
so meanwhile i got an idea of adding a supplementary battery to do this work ....
i m thinking of a battery which i can remove easily and get it charged whenever i want and it could be kept below the rear seat...
any brighter view of u on this work i guess u might help me

Rim reflectors are dirt cheap. You can get a set any color you want for about $15 a set on ebay. I installed myself. I didn't take the wheel off just rolled the bike forward a fit to finish install. The LEDs were done at a shop because I didn't have a lot of time. $300 installed and it's 4 super bright LEDs. I am thinking of adding some more ultra bright white ones to make it even brighter but honestly, on a black bike, the Icon Contra Hi-Viz jacket and the reflective decals on the helmet are probably a better safety upgrade better than all the lights and extra reflectors on the bike. Make sure you drive with your high beam on at all times. I almost never get flashed and low beam is not bright enough. My next upgrades will be some P3 flashing brake lights because I want to command some real attention when I brake.
