Hey Katala. I used matte black grill paint. Just take your time and do one side at a time. Light, even sprays. Let dry, repeat. I then baked it in the oven (make sure you open windows and turn on fans) according to the instructions on the can. Hasnt cracked or peeled or faded. Looks great.
Hey when you painted your exhaust, what type of paint did you use and did you just do it yourself? Keen to do mine, seeking advise , hints that worked , things you might have done or things you should have done to make the process easier and maybe achieve better results or maybe what you did and how you did it was perfect. Hope you don't mind me picking your brain for pointers. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
Actually just got on here to see if I need to retune now. Feels like more power, but a few boggy or flat spots at 6k or so rpm. Loud, but can control with gearing/throttle if in neighborhood. Hope that helps... ~Ted
