Hey Phil! I didn't just think it, I did cross over to the "dark side." I even posted a photo. I purchased the Yamaha FZ-07. I'd give you more thoughts on it, but it's been with Yoshimura R&D for the last month. Maybe once I get a few more miles on it, I'll give you a review.

Thanks for the add in return! I've noticed people on here don't really do the whole "friends" thing like on facebook. We seemed to see eye to eye on quite a few forum topics, so I figured why not? Haha. I play an Epiphone Les Paul Standard in transparent blue. It sounds just as good (if not better) than a lot of Gibsons! I also play my husband's Ovation acoustic/electric. The guitar is my second love compared to the drums, though. And yes, I have ridden many miles on the back of my hubby's Harley, but I have always had a desire to ride a sportbike. With his encouragement and instruction- here we are! =)

Thanks for the thoughtfulness Phil. I haven't actually heard of the movie, so I'll look it up. Appreciate it!

    Rode the Cherohaya Skyway Today
A hundred miles there from home, 51 miles from Tellico Plains, Tn to Robbinsville, NC, 51 miles back, and then 100 miles home. The little 250 carried both me and my g/f the entire way without a whimper...and we easily kept up with the flow of traffic and the couple who we rode with, both on much larger bikes...lots of shifting, but that's ok...my 250 is a tough little bike....but with my girlfriend riding as passenger on that little seat...for that far...and keep in mind she's 48 and I'm 58, my girlfriend might be just a bit tougher...anyway, great bike, great ride, great day...

    Quietening Corsa GP??
Installed a Corsa GP slip on last week and it is a big improvement over the stock muffler...I can live with it the way it is but would like it better if I could tone it down a little. Even with the baffle installed it's still pretty loud.
I've got an idea, but I wanted to ask you guys if there's a pitfall in this...Two metal clamps on the baffle tube with a metal washer held snugly between them...I don't have access to welding stuff. Think this might work? Kinda like a Supertrap I had on an XR250 years ago...Thoughts???
