Default Interesting Documentaries Worth Watching.

I'll start off with one I just watched.

No other reason than I still have it open on my browser, and it's good content and pretty well made. Not only about the black death (which I'm sure we're all familiar with), but the affect on the psychology on the inhabitants of the cities it affected. How it manifested their beliefs.

'The Black Death'

I watch (and always have) a lot of docos on all topics, particularly on anything space/history/geography/sociology/etc. etc.

Post up what you're watching.

All topics and content welcome.

Yup. CC is a good one.

She's been in the news recently. Was murdered/gangland executed only last week or so.

I like watching Docs as well. Some I found most enlightening were re: sex slaves and the rescuing of these victims. Some are kidnapped while on vacation, others with the promise of a better life in America (in which these women paid huge dollars for), some from Turkey. Many are brought over a border making it impossible for these women to leave since their passports have been taken from them. Some of these women do make it to North America. Sex slavery exists rampantly in "this here civilized society"!

King corn. This documentary is about how the government subsidises the growth of inedible corn in Iowa and other states which is used to feed cattle and man and causes both to have a shorter life span.

I have never had a TV; even as a kid we didn't have one. My wireless internet connection is too slow to watch anything more than the odd clip on-line. That's probably why am an ignorant, old sod who knows sweet Fanny Adams.

Still, I do recall watching some of Carl Sagan's Cosmos, Kenneth Clarke's Civilisation, and Richard Attenborough's Life on Earth, and enjoying them. I picked up a copy of the book based on the last, which is an informative read.
