I've just had a quick play around with iMovie, it looks pretty good. Now I need to learn how to use it properly.

You can purchase kits with different mounts. Have fun testing different positions. So far I prefer a fairing position and the chest mount. Nice and stable with awesome views. Congrats on your new purchase. Guarantee you will have a blast with your "CBR Productions".

Here's a vid of mine using the suction cup on the tank. The quality isnt the best because its the first Hero but there is not a lot of vibration. Also, I just finished a ride using the suction cup on the side cowl and for speeds under 70mph it stayed pretty stable. I'll be sure to post it once edited.

Thanks for that. I didn't watch it all, because I'm supposed to be working, but that's the way I'm thinking of trying first.

I've watched it all now, very nice, thanks again for posting. I can see you use Youtube to host your video. This seems to be the most popular video hosting site, and then there's Vimeo. Is there any advantages of using Youtube over Vimeo, or vice versa? Also, I have a 1mb upload connection, how long would it take to upload video's per GB?

I use the sticky mount on my gas tank. I also mount the camera on the tail. The helmet views always make me dizzy and do not show the road/track very well imo.

This is my GoPro Hero HD2 mounted on my gas tank.

I did also mount the camera on the top clamp and that worked better than the gas tank. I got a better shot of the track, without as much of the bike in the way.

Woohoo, my GoPro turned up yesterday. I've created a Youtube account, and will be uploading vids soon. A couple of questions for Mac users. What's the upload file size limit/video resolution to Youtube using Safari, and can anyone recommend a video editor that will join MP4 files together and clip them, outputting to MP4?

Youtube has no limits.

As a new user, I believe you are limited to 15min though.

Gopro has a basic video editor available on their website that has mp4 conversions.
