CBR600RR Vs Daytona 675
Anyone else think that our favorite little 600 is looking a little shabby? I am torn between the Triumph and Honda for my next bike. I'd love to get something in the 70HP range, but I can't find anything sporty enough. I think I'll try to put on another 10,000 miles on the CBR250R and see if I feel I can handle a 600.
Anyhoo...the Daytona rocks. It's got the looks, great power and appeal. My knees, foot placement and hip flexors tell me it fits better, if only slightly.
The Honda is a Honda. It fits ok, that slight rise in the clipons is nice. It just doesn't seem it is as put together as the Daytona. The levers seem cheaper, the gauge is kind of old, the brake lines aren't even stainless steel like the daytona. I have never seen Honda in this light before. I've always felt they never skimped on quality. I look at the CBR600RR now and I can't figure out how they justify costing $500 more. Choosing a new CBR over the Daytona seems like buying a budget bike now. Am I missing something?
