Redline do you know when Honda will be announcing the 2013 sportbike lineup? I was planning on trading in my current bike for a 2013 ninja 300 but if honda comes to the table with a 400/500cc bike then i will probably go that route

Only that you can expect a basic, cost efficient, affordable set of bikes that like the CBR250R is focused on affordability over expensive quality.

As much as the gearhead id wants a v-twin [would really prefer an inline 6 – id.], the realistic hope should be for a single. I'm sure Honda will be able to apply all of the tricks they use for the 250 on a larger thumper. And it would be nice to have the simplicity of a single spark plug, injector, valvetrain, etc.

Another parallel twin in this segment would be light beer.
