Yeah, saw that. Honestly, it's great they're targeting this market of CCs, but "meh" . . . will be sticking with the 2012 Ninja 650 I'm about to get for pretty much the same price (it's under 1000 miles used).

Wow, Kawa may have handed Honda it's a5s on a plate with the Ninja 300, but they just b!tch-slapped Kawa with the price points for these things. Could be my next upgrade if I don't have the money for my Ducati.

I don't like the look of the 650 and as such it was going to be a toss up between the CBR 500 and the Ninja 300 for me, depending on looks, price, and specs.

i must admit it looks a lot better than the dodgy pictures taken of it from the magazines

not a bad bike and a great price tag, new cbr600rr and 1000rr colours look nice too

honda have also tried to make their colour schemes look similar to one another with the cbr250r, cbr500 and 600rr and 1000rr having similar looking tri-colour shcemes and with all bikes but the 500r having repsol schemes along with the 125r and that dodgy scooter

I have to say. the cbr600rr looks like crap to me. Personal opinion. I called that cbr500's price point. kawasaki is done. unless they drop the prices of their 650 and 300, theyre outmatched as far as the middleweight sport market goes.

I think the CBR 500R is hit and miss. Its looks good, but not great, but the Price is right, so I think its acceptable.
