I think cbr500r is the right choice for me and my wife classic looks ,not to much shape and angles like the ninja 250 very neutral great for unisex ,back seat has grab rails great for back riding, a torquey mc that is fuel efficient considering we have small roads and always traffic in our country.i mean you cannot run more than 120km/hr due to speed limit and it will be suicidal for out national roads. the design of the bike is narrower according to this video which is great.
it is already a win win situation price, design, technology, efficiency practicality etc. Regarding its weight i don't think it is an issue you can change the old school design exhaust that could drop to near 400 lbs plus the heavier the better stability on highway for touring.about the brake not being front double disc im sure it would be more than enough its big 320mm unless you drive very aggressively. my previous bike is cbr150 so this is my next step up very excited.

Doesn't anyone else like the look of the new CBR600RR? I think it looks fantastic.
I don't dislike it - but I will say, I like the current 600rr better. The front end is all good, but the overall lines on the bike are a bit less inspiring.
No idea how accurate this is but article says the markets outside the EU to get 54HP while the tiered markets (EU, maybe Aus) gets the 47hp restricted bike.
some funny comments there ,
all true, its got a face like a busted crab, but 600's are just trackbikes to thrash bash and crash, the old cbr's are still running near lap record pace all around the country and new one will continue the same..... just a bit cheaper to buy as nobody will want them as roadbikes.

Western Australia? Who cares what Western Australians think? WA is a crap city, a few dinky towns, and some holes in the ground. All east coast folk know that WA is irrelevant.
