A friend of mine has an 03 ZX6R he picked on a no insurance call (he ones a towing service) the bike is not wrecked and was running when he picked it up he wants 1500.00 for it. The only thing is he don't have the key. I don't know how many miles are on it? Is it a good deal?

Personally, I don't think it's a good deal. As previously stated, no title=not his to sell. What's also up for question is the miles on the bike and its age. $1500.00 can go for a newer less questionable bike.
Wondering if the towing operator is considering a mechanic's lien to address the title issue. The process is fairly expensive in Maryland, not sure about the OP's state. I purchased one of my off-road motorcycles that way, and the title is now in my name.
The title is good, he just don't have a key. I don't know how many miles are on the bike. The bike looks solid. You can tell it's been ridden, looks like the plastics are factory. It needs tires they look they are starting to dry out.
