All ready bought this. 2008 FZ6.
But I am keeping the CBR 250 for now since I love the commute to work because of the great gas mileage and I can squeeze between everything.
Im not sure I'd ever get it due to the excessive engine, but the other day i saw a KTM 1190 RC8 in a dealer and the angular design definitely caught my attention. Give me that sharp styling with one of those 90's era 250cc inline 4 cylinder and that i'd go for. (why arnt those inline 4's around anymore anyway? emissions or something?)
in reality, my bike is for commuting, so any future purchases are going to be based on economy, something like the NC700 series for matching economy and a bit more power, or if they come out with bettwe fuel efficiency with similar power to the current 250s, or perhaps even an electric if it's mature by then (I did look into it, and calculated I'd need to do 125,000 miles on an electric model to break even with current technology)
Streamlined electric commuter.

Actually, I will probably trade my 2009 Ninja250 for a new Ninja300ABS for my daughter to ride in the spring. The electric bike will have to wait until I have $7000 cash to blow.
This is one beautiful bike, and I have had the privilege of riding one. I bet it's amazing around a circuit, but it's bloody awful on the road. Your legs get cooked and your wrists are in agony after half an hour. I think some superbikes are like your heroes, it's best never to meet them, as you're always going to be disappointed.

Doesn't sound like it was much of a privilege after all...

I'm never going to replace my 250 but my next bike will be a 2013-2014 CBR500
Same here... I'll keep my 250 and likely get a 2014 CBR500R. I like to plan a motorcycle purchase well in advance, save up the money and pay cash for it.
