That should be an awesome bike. KTM bikes, parts, and service are historically wildly rare and expensive. Perhaps the Indian build will help build the volume and increase competition.

I am seriously tempted to go in and see what the local KTM dealer will do to get me on one... I love the weebee but this thing is (learner legal) sex on wheels.
Went and looked at the 200 while in the bike shop the other day,
looked great from a distance, but then had a good look at the wheel castings, the welding, and the Indian brake calipers.
But on the other hand they are bringing bikes in at very affordable prices, the 200 was $6100 Au on the road ride away, same price as cbr250.

Buy a KTM built in Austria... wouldn't waste my money on that Indian built crap.

hello mr moto mike
all ktms for europe and asia are made in india......The KTM Duke 200 is a standard motorcycle made by KTM available in Europe, India and Malaysia.[1] It has a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, spark-ignition liquid-cooled engine. For the Indian market, the parts are made by Austrian motorcycle manufacturer KTM and are assembled by the Bajaj Auto company.......
india will export so many military equipments to so many countries around the globe but why u scared to buy a small bike....there is no differnce b/w made in austria and india all parts are same but assembled in differnt country.......
