Default 2013 Triumph Daytona 675

Another EICMA reveal, the 2013 Triumph Daytona 675 and 675R.

Triumph reveal 2013 Daytona 675R - Motorcycle news: New bikes - Visordown

I am liking the look, and it seems the engine has been significantly upgraded as well.

One thing I am not keen on is the silver extension of the headlights.

Other than that, sign me up.

If i was to buy another "Sports" style bike this is the one that i would go for but am currently considering the more traditional Bonneville.
Cheers

2013 Street Triple R >>>> 2013 Daytona

Although the white/blue one is nice

Although I'm personally partial to the Street Triple, that is one beautiful machine.

With you on the uglier bit. It seems like everyone styling an SS these days thinks uglier = better. They should freeze the styling budgets, keep them looking exactly as they have been and spend the money on engineering.

I do get the side exhaust though - shorter, lighter, more centralised weight and not having your ar5e get fried in traffic may be an ok trade off for the look (and can look great - Z1000, anyone?) - but there's no excuse for those headlights.

That bike looks pretty hot except the little top headlight. It looks strange to me.

Not quite sure how I feel about that side exhaust yet. One of the things I loved about the Daytona was the undertail exhaust. It does look pretty clean like that but I think I'd rather have it like the 2012.

No wonder why the 1st and 2nd gen are selling like used hookers. The newgen look more in line with all the other supersports. Which is not a good thing for some Triumph fanbois, who think the bike is losing its identity.
