250r is a great light touring bike !

Seems a bit unusual to lose a cup (250ml) for such a short distance Harry. I regularly do that distance without any oil loss.

If you're sure the bike is losing oil and there's no sign of leaks...

Cbr250r front spring up grade cheap and easy

I didn't change the fork oil when I dropped the RT springs and tube spacers in.

The stock springs as I recall have a spring rate of ~.45mm/kg. The RT's I replaced them with are .86mm/kg....

I did what Arrethul suggests and dropped Racetech springs in the front along with different sized fork spacer tubes. Our bikes are pretty much set up from the factory for 75kg riders.

I weigh 95kg...
