Your not wasting your time and hopefully the OP will realise his error if or when his engine needs rebuilding. I tried earlier in the thread to find out what had caused the damage in the first place...

Glad you or the bike did not have too much damage. I've noticed that the brakes on these bikes are very sharp and need to be squeezed rather than grabbed. Not something you tend to do in a panic....
