Your opinion on night riding

Not true. Most if not all good books from the likes of Hough et Al cite sight as an important factor in riding safely.

What did you do to your cbr250r today?

^ Yeah, I've heard a few reports of fast wear on rotors due to sintered pads. I haven't seen this on my bike but then again the braking power of our 250's isn't anywhere near a super sport. I think...

When prepping the bike for track school I picked up a Galfer SS line, bottle of DOT4 RBF600 brake fluid and new EBC copper pads. Brakes felt great afterwards.

As Shish and Joeboo suggest:

Start the bike and let it idle until reaching operating temperature (shown as three bars on your temp gauge).

Lots of varying rpm's and engine braking.

Don't lug...

Radiator Guards

Agree with Mike. This cheap mod is a no brainer as a radiator can get holed at any time, and irrespective of how many miles the bike has been ridden. Having the radiator repaired by a shop is cheaper...

Looks good Harry.

I did one for my Daytona too. Last weekend my riding buddy holed the radiator on his cbr600 in the middle of the Hunua ranges. Needless to say that he needed towing.

Unlike our neighbours in Aussie our temperatures in the upper North Island make year round riding hassle free. It's a different story the further south you go (in winter) though.

CB650F and CBR650F plus more for 2014

If I was in the market for one no ABS wouldn't be a deal breaker. Neither my bikes (CBR250R and Daytona 675) are ABS equipped.

That said I respect why it's a must have for some riders.
